No signal message and changing your HDMI:

"No signal" on a TV means that the television is not receiving any video input from the currently selected source, like an antenna, cable box, or streaming device, and therefore cannot display a picture; this usually appears when the device is not powered on, not connected properly, or the TV is set to the wrong input

What to do when you see "no signal":

  • Check connections: Verify that all cables are securely plugged into both the TV and the source device.

  • Change input: Select the correct input on the TV that the device is connected to.

  • Power cycle devices: Turn off both the TV and the source device, wait a few seconds, and then turn them back on.

  • Check for damage: Inspect cables for any visible damage.

Smart TV vs Streaming Stick:

Streaming sticks often have more advanced hardware compared to the streaming capabilities built into smart TVs. Streaming sticks can sometimes have better Wi-Fi capabilities, leading to smoother streaming experiences, especially in larger homes with weaker signals.
